The SMS Text Messaging/Email service will send you messages which are relevant to your ongoing healthcare e.g. appointment reminders, requests to contact your GP regarding test or reviews, health screening opportunities etc. SMS Text Messaging/Email is available to all of our patients with a mobile phone and/or an email address. The surgery needs your written permission to send you messages and we will only contact you in this way with your say so. A consent form is available from reception or you can print one from our website. Click the forms and Leaflets tab. Completed forms nust be returned to the surgery- WE CANNOT ACCEPT EMAILED CONSENT. Due to the personal content of these messages it will be very important that you keep the surgery informed of any changes to your email address/mobile phone number or if you wish us to remove you from the service should your phone be lost or stolen. We will be collecting our patient consent forms over the next few months. We hope to commence the service in the summer dependent on the response we get.
