Online Alternatives: Patient Triage and the NHS App

Due to Coronavirus, our phone lines are understandably extremely busy at the moment. To help with this, please use our online services, such as Patient Triage or the NHS app, if you are able to. You can access many of our services this way without needing to call us or come into the surgery in the first instance.

Patient Triage
Patient Triage is an online triaging system which you can use for non urgent medical and admin requests, from asking for advice on a condition or symptoms, to requesting sick notes, and more. You can access Patient Triage by clicking the Contact us online banner on our homepage or by following this link. You will be asked a series of questions regarding your request which will then be sent through to the practice.

It is important that you provide as much in-depth information as you can, when completing a Patient Triage request, to help the team decide on the best course of action. You may be asked to come into the surgery, to make a telephone appointment, given advice – or anything else that is appropriate to your request. You may not need to come into the surgery at all.

You will receive a response to your Patient Triage within 2 working days.

NHS App
The NHS app is available on iOS and Android, and you can download it on the App Store and Google Play Store. You can use the NHS app to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and more. For help downloading and using the NHS app, please click here.

Please note that these services should NOT be used for emergencies.
