Chronic Disease Management

Patients with the following conditions will be offered annual appointments for review:

  • Heart conditions,
  • Respiratory conditions.

Maternity Care

All the doctors work closely with you and your midwife during pregnancy.  We will respect your wishes about the kind of antenatal care and birth you would like, and do everything to make it possible.

Contraception

Advice about all methods of contraception and safe sex is available from doctors and practice nurses.

Emergency Contraception

(e.g. the “morning after pill”) is a completely confidential service for people of all ages – just make an urgent appointment with your doctor or nurse.

Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to contact the surgery on 01392 211266 (option 1 for appointments) and arrange a telephone consultation with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements, they will then book you in for a second appointment to provide you with any necessary vaccinations that are provided under the NHS. Please allow at least 8 weeks before you travel to arrange this.
